Statement of Belief
Dell Dale Avenue Baptist Church believes
the Bible is God's Holy Word, divinely inspired, and is
the final authority in Christian living. We believe in
one God, revealed in three persons - the Father, the Son,
and the Holy Spirit.
Our church family believes that Jesus Christ
was born of a virgin, conceived by the Holy Spirit, lived
a sinless life, and crucified on a cross for our sins,
was buried and arose from the dead. He now sits on the
right hand of the Father, interceding for believers.
Dell Dale Avenue Baptist Church also believes
that all men are lost and must come to a saving knowledge
of Jesus Christ as Savior. We believe that once a person
accepts Jesus Christ as Savior, the Holy Spirit comes
to dwell within. It is then that responsibility of the
saved to follow Jesus in baptism and become part of a
Bible believing church as the first steps of obedience.
We believe that God's Word clearly teaches
that Jesus Christ is coming soon for those who believe
in Him and will take His church to heaven to be with Him
for eternity.
